From time immemorial, our brothers and sisters who happen to be physically handicapped have been compelled to be dependent on other family members and sometimes strangers who are most often unwilling to offer assistance. For this reason, Odotobri Rural Bank Limited did not relent in collaborating with the Ghana Blind Union (GBU) to grant loans to the blind. Odotobri counts it vital to shed light into the lives of these visually challenged brethren who are yet skillful, in order that they would earn a dignified living and also possibly take on the role of bread winners for their relatives, instead of becoming a burden for others. Mr. Paul Owusu, Madam Hagar Appiah and Madam Cecilia Arthur are some beneficiaries of the GBU loans. The Board and Management of the Bank are therefore pleased to launch this special service rendered to the visually handicapped.
