ODOTOBRI RURAL BANK LAUNCHES THREE BANCASSURANCE PRODUCTS

Odotobri Rural Bank in partnership with StarLife Assurance launched Bancassurance products at the Bank’s Head Office in Jacobu in the Amansie Central District. Three (3) Bancassurance products were unveiled to meet the needs of its numerous and diversed customer base.

They are ORB WealthMaster, ORB Meba Adesua (Child Education Plan) and ORB Funeral Plan.

The Bank has been in this strategic partnership with Star Life since 2017 and it is aimed at fostering strong financial backbone for our clients through savings and insurance.

Speaking at the launch of the product, Acting Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Abraham Coffie said, as a customer-centered Bank, Odotobri has always put customer needs first, hence the need for Management to explore other avenues for creating wealth for our cherished customers. The Bank is now in a better position to make these insurance products available to all customers in all its branches. He commended the former Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Siaka Baba Ahmed for spearheading the Bancassurance programme in 2017.

The Head of Commercial Business of StarLife Assurance, Mr. Alexander Twumasi on his part praised Odotobri Rural Bank for fostering such a strategic partnership as the Bank stands to enjoy the solid financial backbone the company boasts of. According to him, StarLife is well positioned to deliver value added services to its customers.

ORB WealthMaster Plan is an investment plan that is geared towards accumulating wealth for our customers in order to meet their medium to long term aspirations such as investing to generate capital for a business, buying a car and buying or building a house.

ORB Meba Adesua is a Child Educational Plan that is meant to provide financial backbone to our customers towards their children’s future educational needs.

ORB Funeral Plan aims at insuring spouses, parents, children and parent in-law till death. This policy aims at making funds readily available for funeral expenses during the demise of the insured.

During the launch, awards were presented to performing branches and individuals whiles some beneficiaries of the policy received their cheques as claims payment.
