ODOTOBRI RURAL BANK MAKES DONATIONS TO INSTITUTIONS

ODOTOBRI RURAL BANK LTD. LAUNCHES GBU (GHANA BLIND UNION) LOANS & EXTENDS A GENEROUS HAND TO VARIOUS INSTITUTIONS INCLUDING NATIONAL ROAD SAFETY COMMISSION, GHANA POLICE SERVICE, SCHOOLS ETC. TO THE TUNE OF GH¢20,386.00

From time immemorial, our brothers and sisters who happen to be physically handicapped have been compelled to be dependent on other family members and sometimes strangers who are most often unwilling to offer assistance.

For this reason, Odotobri Rural Bank Limited did not relent in collaborating with the Ghana Blind Union (GBU) to grant loans to the blind. Odotobri counts it vital to shed light into the lives of these visually challenged brethren who are yet skillful, in order that they would earn a dignified living and also possibly take on the role of bread winners for their relatives, instead of becoming a burden for others. Mr. Paul Owusu, Madam Hagar Appiah and Madam Cecilia Arthur are some beneficiaries of the GBU loans.

The Board and Management of the Bank are therefore pleased to launch this special service rendered to the visually handicapped.

Also, to support Aduman Senior High School team to participate fully in the all games and athletic competition that would be held in Ashanti Region and across the country, the following sports kits has been donated to them.
- 2 Sets of Jersey
- 12 pairs of spikes
- 2 Hand balls
- 2 Hockey balls
- 2 Javelin Spear
- 2 Shots (shot put balls)

Hopefully, supporting the sporting activities of these young ones would help groom athletes for the country at large. Receiving the sports kits on behalf of the school were Mr. Emmanuel Kofi Oduro (Assistant Headmaster-Academic) and Mr. Nuru Godwin (Head of Sports Department).
