Kumasi, Aug. 28, GNA – Odotobri Rural Bank Limited is to introduce Automated Teller Machine (ATM) and mobile banking services as part of the drive to boost its operations.
Mr. Johnny Owusu-Boadi, the Board Chairman, said today’s banking was dependent on the provision of quality and efficient services considering the intense competition in the industry.
The bank would therefore do everything to inject the needed capital and professionalism into its activities. They would additionally continue to explore and come out with innovative products to expand its customer base and growth.
Mr. Owusu-Boadi was inaugurating the Roman Hill branch of the bank in Kumasi. This brings to seven the number of branches it has been operating and there are plans to open another at Agric-Nzema also in Kumasi.
The Board Chairman encouraged the bank’s shareholders to increase their shares to strengthen its capital adequacy ratio. He appealed to the public to save with the bank and benefit fully from its support schemes by way of loans and social services.
The bank, he said, is giving special attention to women working groups and entrepreneurs through microfinance packages to fight poverty.
